It is with a heavy heart that I must write that my sister, Cori Evans, lost the love of her life, Eric Shaw, father of their son Lil Eric, and his daughter Parris, suddenly on July 31, 2025. On July 31, 2025, we lost Eric. My boy was an incredible father, partner, and friend. His passing was sudden, without warning, and unbelievable. For those who knew Eric, you know he was a beacon of light, bringing laughter and joy wherever he went. His sudden departure has left an immense void in our lives, and we are all grappling with this profound loss. It has also left a deep void in the lives of those who loved him, especially his longtime partner, Cori, their son Eric, and his daughter Paris.

Eric and Cori shared 23 beautiful years together, building a life full of love, laughter, and resilience. Now, in the wake of this unimaginable loss, Cori faces the daunting challenge of navigating life as the sole provider for their family. The emotional toll on her, we can only imagine, and the financial burden is overwhelming.
I’m asking for your help to raise $15,000 to support Cori, her son, and Eric’s daughter during this difficult transition.
